Inspected leak at kitchen sink.
Homeowner is having the cabinets redone, and would like the water lines in the wall. JIG Plumbing will crawl under the home and disconnect the existing kitchen waterlines, and bring new lines up in the wall, and reconnect the emergency stops and kitchen faucet. Once the work is complete, everything will be checked to ensure there are no further issues.
Existing kitchen faucet is leaking from the side sprayer when the faucet is run. A new faucet is recommended due to age and condition, as well as the leaking. JIG Plumbing will supply and install a brand new chrome kitchen faucet with a pull down sprayer. The existing faucet will be removed, and a new faucet installed in its place, ensuring a nice and tight seal base of the sink. The new faucet will be tested to ensure proper functionality. Existing garbage disposal is still functioning, but due to age and condition, it is recommended to replace it. JIG plumbing will install a new half horsepower garbage disposal in the existing disposals place, and reconnected to the existing drain line. Will be tested to ensure proper functionality.
About 70 ft. Of galvanized pipe was removed from the rose bed area next to the driveway. Pvc pipe was connected from the T were the is a capped line, and continued all the way towards the back right before the garage and ended with a riser and a hose bib. Water was then turned back on and tested for leaks. Everything working properly. 1 year warranty on parts and labor.
We repaired a section of the irrigation water line that had a significant leak. Using a PVC cutter, we removed the damaged section and replaced it with a new segment of 1-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe, securing it with Oatey medium clear PVC cement and primer. The connections were tested for leaks to ensure the system was functioning correctly. Proper irrigation line repairs are crucial for maintaining efficient water distribution. Upon arrival, the technician was shown a leak in line with the water service. When the technician shut off the water meter, the leak stopped. The technician then proceeded to excavate the location where the water was coming. The technician had to remove a bush and had to turn on and locate the direction of the multiple times and was able to chase it to the location of the pipe. The technician found a 1” copper pipe with a decent sized hole on top right next to a coupling. The technician cut out damaged section and rebuilt with new 1” type L copper and press fittings. Once repair was complete, the technician then pressurized the line. Found no leaks at repair. Customer requested that the technician does not backfill to allow the dirt to dry and to make sure there are no other leaks. The copper was very thin and we recommend installing a new water service to replace the old deteriorated copper.

Existing section of 4” cast iron pipe for the drain is cracked and leaking. Will repair damaged section of pipe with new ABS piping up to 10 feet, and reconnect with No-Hub couplings. After repair, line will be tested to ensure there is proper flow and no leaks.
