Arrived to inspect leak coming through T-Bar ceiling into bank. During inspection found leak to be coming from original cast iron 2" drain line where connection to floor sink is made. In effort to prevent floor sink replacement we will need to cut out section of 2" cast iron drain line up to sink, and past sanitary T- fitting to replace properly with new no hub connections, new ABS pipe, and new p-trap/sanitary T-fitting. Proposal to replace this section will be provided as task.
Upon arrival Technician noticed the tiles missing on ceiling in the lobby area by the desk. I was informed that the womens upstairs toilet was constantly running, flushing and that was causing water to leak downstairs thru the ceiling tiles. Technician pulled and reset the toilet with 2wax rings, and rebuilt the Sloan valve components/parts. Once the toilet was reset and employee constantly flushed the toilet while the Technician was observing, inspecting the drain line from the closet bend , down. No signs of leaks were noticed. The tiles were not put back in place due to it breaking when water leaked prior to Technician arriving.
A trip charge is being applied to this job, for picking up an acces card.
