Replace abs p trap with tubular. We will also replace the tailpiece. We will unclog the dishwasher drain line free of charge. Upon arrival, the utility sink abs trap is broken. Technician cut out the existing trap and installed a new tubular trap and extension tailpiece. The technician filled the sink and drained it to check for leaks. Jig will flush the tankless water heater. We will run a solution through the heat exchanger to perform routine maintenance that is recommended by the manufacturer. Upon arrival JIGPlumbing did a quick diagnostic of the issue and found that the fitting at the bottom of the dishwasher drain plug was broken off. The technician called the customer to confirm and approve the scope of work to be done. Once approved the technician went ahead with the repair and connected the drain line. The water line to dishwasher was off upon arrival and will be left off, so that the glue to the fittings dries off completely before use. The technician also recommends that if the dishwasher needs to be moved anytime after today, to disconnect the drain hose to the copper pipe to easily move it without damaging or breaking any fittings. 90 days warranty on parts and labor.

Upon arrival the customer showed the technician the issue. The hot side wasn’t shutting off completely, it was recommended to replace the hot side shower stem to resolve the issue. Once the stem was replaced and installed the water was turned back on tested for leaks. Working properly. 6 months warranty.

Upon arrival, the master shower is not draining at all. The technician looked down the drain and saw lots of grease/oil buildup. The technician will use a 1/4” snake to attempt to clear the drain, running it through the trap and snaking the entire shower drain line. We will run lots of water to make sure it’s draining. Warranty: 30 days JIG will also flush your Navien 240A. The technician also cleaned the air inlet filter and emptied the condensate trap. Both were quite dirty.

Upon arrival customer had stated there has been a leak going on behind the fridge. After inspecting the area jig plumbing was able to determine the angel stop to the fridge has been leaking for a while causing wall damage all along the back end creating a bad smell. When the technician replaced the shut off he noticed that the compression ring that seals the valve was not compressed completely and was able to remove it bare hand . Upon arrival, found food particles and grey water in unit bathtub. Lao found a drip at the tub spout. Looked into the crawl space and discovered that both p traps for unit 328.5 and 328 are tubular p traps. The trap for unit 328 is actively leaking, see photos. JIG Plumbing will use a 1/4” snake and run it through the overflow in 328.5 to attempt to clear the drain. Although this has a high success rate at clearing the drain, a 1/4” snake is not designed to clean the drain, only to clear the current blockage. Warranty is dependent on the work and findings, up to 30 days. Removed the overflow plate and ran 1/4” snake. The snake hit a hard blockage roughly 8-10 feet down before the toilet connection. The 1/4” snake was not powerful enough to break the blockage. Went to the side yard and cut the old laundry 1-1/2” ABS horizontal. When cutting, the glued fitting came right off as if it was never glued. Attempted to run 1/2” cable with spade bit, however, the short bend ABS 90 did not

Existing emergency stops for the hot side in the downstairs restroom are not functioning, and will not shut down. The technician will also include replacing the fill valve hose in the first bathroom and replace a p-trap gasket for the lav in the second bathroom. It appears the rat has chewed a large hole in the top of the drain pump under the break room sink which is causing another leak of dirty water. Recommend replacing the pump and will provide an estimate to do so.

Upon arrival home owner requested an estimate in regards to install customer supplied kitchen sink and faucet.

Upon arriving the technician noticed the shut off leaking while attempting to shut it off. The technician removed the old valve and installed a new one. Supply line was connected to refrigerator and water was turned on. Checked for leaks, working properly. 1 year warranty on parts and labor.

Existing 1-1/2” backflow device was stolen. New device is necessary in order to get water into the building. Due to how low the thieves cut the waterlines, the concrete pad must be broken around the piping in order to get down deep enough to find good piping before the new device can be installed. JIG plumbing will break concrete around the backflow, waterlines, in order to access new pipe before running new waterlines. A new backflow device will be installed, and reconnected to both waterlines. Once installed, the water will be energized and the backflow device tested to ensure proper functionality, and no leaks. Due to the damage sustained during theft, the cage will no longer lock. A separate estimate will be submitted to account for the installation of a new antitheft cage.

JIG Plumbing will make drywall incision in order to investigate source of leak. Drywall patching is not included. Opened up the drywall and found water dripping from the valve area, but could not see where the water was specifically coming from. Removed shower trim and took a video of water dripping from the valve itself. Also opened up the kitchen ceiling and found two corroded copper pipes. Presented four different options, one option for repairing the kitchen lines, two for the shower, and a Re-pipe option. No solutions performed today, customer needs time to discuss. $10 charge for the shower arm.
