Leak underneath upstairs hallway bathroom shower. Cut open ceiling in garage underneath shower to inspect source of leak. Water was dripping down the vent line on the adjacent wall to the shower valve and the tub drain and the area around was dry. Upon inspection of inside the shower, the technician noticed the grab handle was loose and concluded the leak was coming from the handles failed sealant or mounting. Tenet requested the technician cut open wall behind the shower grab handle to verify. Once the wall was open, the technician was able to 100% conclude the leak in coming from the grab handle in the shower. Note: the water pressure is extremely high in the home, about 125 psi. Recommend replacing the water pressure regulator and will provide an estimate to do so.

Technician was able to re-tightened down faucet head and tested it to insure there was no more leaks. RECOMMENDATION: Technician recommends to replace faucet if the issue is ongoing and or persistent.

Upon arrival technician was able to determine source of leak occurring on city side of Maine water service.

Technician will repair small section of 1 inch copper within the wall. Once scope of work is complete technician will then pressurize home to insure their are no more leaks. The elbow for the sprinkler valve is cracked and needs to be replaced. JIG Plumbing will dig around the riser in order to gain access to the piping, and remove the valve.
